BioI'm a 34 year old woman whose multiple facets overlap in the one journal. A wife and mother of two, I'm politically active (Had enough? Vote Democrat!), attend my local Unitarian Universalist church, and am learning to live with fibromyalgia and its friends, Raynaud's syndrome, hypothyroidism, fructose intolerance. I also have some sort of vestibular dysfunction that is making life interesting as it blithely teams up with the fibromyalgia to mess up any plans I make. I am also at the age where one has one's old injuries start coming back to haunt one in wet or cold weather. Currently I am attempting to get on SSI, since actually going and getting a job is another thing the team of diseases messes up.
I write fanfiction, mostly in the Harry Potter universe, though lately it's been Arthurian Legends. Go read if you're old enough, but do me a favor and don't confuse me with what I write. I have something called a creative imagination. Currently I'm working on an original novel. I love to talk about writing and the process of creation, so feel free to talk to me about that.
In the SCA, I am Signora Giovanna d'Este, AoA, OW, of the Barony of Sternfeld in the Middle Kingdom. I just stepped down as the Baronial chatelaine, and I am apprenticed in cookery and general research to Mistress Priscilla the Hun and Master John Devereaux. Currently projects include revamping garb, and working on next year's A&S entries.
